 F.L.A.S.H.  INVESTIGATIONS

Palmyra Museum / General Store / Print Shop

This site was the first case F.L.A.S.H. investigated on February 8th 2008. A museum, a general store, and a print shop all had reports of paranormal activity.

Valentown Museum - Victor NY

First built in 1879 to be a business and commerce center by Levi Valentine, this place had a cobbler shop, blacksmith shop, a music school and business and science schools not to mention a bakery and town meeting room. Volunteers who work late at night at the hall and the Icabod Town House have experienced sounds of footsteps coming from the ballroom floor or the second floor when there was nobody in the building. There have been reports of objects moving, to piano keys being tapped, and an old style harp being played...that has NO STRINGS!

Springdale Bed & Breakfast - Victor NY

A bed and breakfast set on the rolling hills of Victor NY. This place is set on a beautiful farmland and is so peaceful to the customers, but with a twist. Customers would report strange sounds in some of the rooms and shadow figures would be spotted floating about the halls. F.L.A.S.H. investigated in January 2009 but no evidence of any activity was found.

Marjim Manor Winery - Appleton NY

A winery located just outside of Buffalo NY, F.L.A.S.H. investigated in may 2009. A very scenic place with its own gathering of paranormal activity. Outside of the building itself under a nearby tree, evp's of a small child were detected. A very active evp, this child was detected almost all over the outside of the building wanting to play and was also looking for somedody. The evp's of this child were the strongest underneath a tree next to the building.

The inside of the manor has more than it's fair share of activity. Full bodied apparitions, shadow people, and evp's can be found on different floors of the building. Marjim Manor is a very popular spot for paranormal investigators to explore.

Phelps General Store

The second building next to the Palmyra Museum. A full bodied apparition of a small child was spotted next to the cash register in the general store, also a strong odor of sulfer was detected then the smell quickly went away.

1812 Hotel - Sodus NY

In February 2008, the 1812 Hotel caught on fire due to a cell phone charger shorting out some electrical wires and the fire quickly spread through the building. While the building was on fire, firefighters reported that they could still see images of people on the third and second floors of the building when they knew that the entire building was evacuated. F.L.A.S.H. investigated in April 2008, the highlights of the investigation was a disembodied voice of a little girl saying "Hi", and a shadow person sliding down a staircase, not to mention a hand reaching out at one of our investigators from a staircase.

Buffalo Central Terminal - Buffalo NY

A large metropolitan train station first opened in the 1920's, served as the main terminal for travelers and the brave men and women who went to go serve our country during world war II , Korea , and Vietnam. The station ran up until closing in the 70's, one man named Tony Ferdele struggled to keep the station open and he had an apartment in the station. Tony would later go bankrupt and the station went into disrepair. Paranormal activity has been reported in the main concourse, the switch control rooms and on various floors of the building. Full bodied apparisions to shadow people, to a drinking fountain can be seen where a hole in the wall is now having once had a drinking fountain there but was removed.

Print Shop

The third building with the Palmyra Museum, an old style print shop, has had numerous reports of sightings and unusual noises that can't be explained from shadow people to full bodied apparitions.

Iron Island Museum - Buffalo NY

This building was once a funeral home and a church and is now a museum for the residents of Buffalo NY. The preservation society that takes care of the building when they first started out had found caskets left behind from the funeral home. There is a military room, alter room, and a room dedicated to the Buffalo Central Terminal. All of these rooms have had reports of paranormal activity from foot steps to sounds in the attic and the movement of objects. Some picture frames that would be on a table would also be found on the floor, how they were moved...UNKNOWN! The museum also has their share of EVP's...Electronic Voice Phenomena.

USS THE SULLIVANS DD-537 NAVAL MUSEUM - Buffalo NY

The first ship to bear the name THE SULLIVANS was named after the five Sullivan brothers from Waterloo Iowa who all served on the same ship and all perished on board the USS Juneau after being torpedoed by a japanese sub. The navy later ruled that family members will not serve on the same station or unit . This would be considered the greatest loss a family ever encountered during world war II.

Volunteers at the museum have reported strange sounds and shadow figures in the engineroom and on the bridge. Sounds of foot steps can be heard throughout the decks and objects have moved. F.L.A.S.H. has investigated in June 2009 and have had interesting results. The CPO mess has one leather seat that sounds like somebody is getting up from the seat from the leather sound made. EVP's have been detected from various decks of the ship. One EVP that we got was from the question asked..."Are you enlisted or an officer?" The answer we got on the voice recorder was..."officer!"

One member of F.L.A.S.H. once served onboard the USS THE SULLIVANS DDG-68 the second ship to bear the name during his naval career and provided great amounts of information from both ships.
